The VW Golf R 2025 will strengthen its place as a sports car in the lineup with an extra dose of power. It now reaches 328 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque! As expected, Volkswagen Canada announces the end of the manual transmission for this model year, making way for the standard dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The exterior design is revamped with more incisive light clusters, glossy black accents, and new 18- or 19-inch wheels. This also includes a new set of lightweight "Warnemau" 19-inch wheels designed to promote disc cooling. There will also be a reworked exhaust, with titanium tips for the Performance version, as well as a new Black edition.
