One of the most convenient features of Car-Net is the ability to remotely start or stop your engine using your smartphone. This comes in handy on cold mornings when you want to warm up your car before getting in or on hot days when you want to cool down the cabin before hopping in. To use this feature, simply open the Car-Net app and click on the “Engine Start/Stop” button. From there, you’ll be prompted to enter your PIN code to confirm the action. Once the engine is started, you can also activate the heated seats and steering wheel (if equipped), as well as the climate control system to get the perfect temperature for your ride.
Another useful feature of Car-Net is the ability to lock and unlock your doors remotely. This can come in handy if you forget to lock your car when you’re not around or if someone else needs to get into your car when you’re not there. To use this feature, simply open the Car-Net app and select “Lock/Unlock Doors.” You’ll then be prompted to enter your PIN code to confirm the action. Once the doors are locked or unlocked, you’ll receive a notification on your phone so that you can be sure the action was successful.
With Car-Net, you can also keep tabs on your vehicle’s status while you’re away from it. This includes things like monitoring the battery level (for electric vehicles), checking fuel levels, and seeing how many kilometres are left until empty. To access this information, simply open the Car-Net app and select “Vehicle Status.” You’ll then see all of the available information displayed on your screen.
If you’ve ever forgotten where you parked your car, then you know how frustrating it can be trying to find it again in a crowded lot or garage. Fortunately, with Car-Net, you can easily locate your vehicle no matter where it’s parked. Simply open the app and select “Find My Vehicle.” The app will then show you a map with the location of your vehicle marked with a blue pin. If needed, you can also activate the horn and lights from this screen so that you can easily find your way back to your car.
